Your privacy and the security of biometric data is our highest priority. Please review and acknowledge the following.

Service Agreement

I understand that Clone U Studios will create AI-generated voice clones and/or digital avatars from audio and video captured during my session. These are technological approximations — they are NOT the actual person and do not possess consciousness, memory, or independent thought. Clone U is not a medical, therapeutic, or grief counseling service. I understand that delivery timelines vary by package tier (Essential: 7-10 days, Signature: 10-14 days, Legacy: 14-21 days).

Biometric Data Consent (Required by Law)

What we collect: Voiceprint data (processed by ElevenLabs), facial geometry data (processed by HeyGen), and video/audio recordings of the session subject.

Why we collect it: To create voice clones, digital avatars, and story archives as part of your purchased Memory Capsule package.

How long we keep it: Active voice clones and avatars are maintained for the duration of your portal access (1 year, 3 years, or lifetime depending on package). Raw recordings are retained for 90 days after delivery for quality assurance, then permanently deleted unless you request extended retention. You may request deletion of all biometric data at any time.

Who processes it: ElevenLabs, Inc. (voice cloning) and HeyGen, Inc. (avatar creation) process biometric data on our behalf under data processing agreements. Clone U will never sell, trade, or share your biometric data for any purpose other than delivering your purchased services.

Your rights: You may revoke this consent and request deletion of all biometric data at any time by emailing privacy@cloneu.com. Upon revocation, your voice clone and avatar will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Communication Preferences

After You Book: Your data is encrypted and transmitted via TLS 1.3. Biometric consent is stored separately from your booking record in compliance with BIPA requirements. All staff with data access undergo background checks and operate under role-based access controls. You'll receive a confirmation email with your consent documentation within 5 minutes.

We'll confirm your session within 24 hours. Check your email for consent documentation and next steps.

Your consent documentation has been emailed to you. A separate copy of your biometric data consent is stored in our compliance system. You can request a copy or revoke consent at any time by contacting privacy@cloneu.com.
